Nunome-nuri Bowls with Lids (Set of 2)
Nunome-nuri Bowls with Lids (Set of 2)
The warmth of fabric and the luster of lacquer
These are custom-made vessels, each individually turned by a trusted woodturner based on designs drawn by the artist themselves.
The exterior features a "nunome-nuri" finish, where linen cloth is hardened with lacquer, while the interior has filled wood grain finished with lustrous black lacquer. A special touch of hospitality, adding to the joy of opening the lid.
The rim and base are reinforced with washi paper.
